Desktop Computers
The Library provides over 150 computer workstations for access to the Library catalog, the Internet, and a range of Microsoft Office applications. These include some specialized workstations with various graphics, multimedia and GIS software. All are connected to the campus Pay-for-Print service.
Login Workstations
- Require Fresno State student, staff or faculty login (campus username and password)
- Offer full versions Microsoft Office
Public Computers
- Open to anyone and do not require a login
- Offer Internet access, but read-only versions of Microsoft Office programs (no word processing)
Media Labs
- Ask at Music and Media, 3rd floor, north
- Require student login
- Software includes: Creative Suite 5.5 Premium Edition, Mudbox, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Google Sketchup
Music Editing Stations
- Ask at Music and Media, 3rd floor, north
- Require student login
- Software includes Finale and Sibelius
Analog Converting Stations
- Ask at the Music and Media desk, 3rd floor, north wing
- Open to anyone, however users must check in at the desk
- Software will convert analog format (VHS cassette) to digital format
Quick Print Stations
- Send print jobs to the Pay for Print system from your campus email, Blackboard, or USB device
- Located near the Printing Assistance desk on the 1st floor, north wing
Microform Digitization Stations
- Located on the 2nd floor, north wing
- View, print, and save images from microform (microfilm, microfiche and microprint)
- Do not require a login
- Restricted to microform use only
GIS Workstation
- ArcGIS
- Located near the Printing Assistance desk on the 1st floor, north wing
Chemdraw
- Located near the Printing Assistance desk on the 1st floor, north wing
Catalog Only Stations
- Allow access to the library catalog only
- Various locations in the Library
