Undergraduate Loan Policies
Your campus-issued photo ID (Fresno State KeyCard) is required for all transactions.
Loan Periods
• 28 days for most books, scores, Teacher Resource Center and Government Information items.
• 2 hours, 1 or 3 days for Course Reserves items;
• 2 hours or 3 days for Music & Media Reserves
• 4 hours for Dell or Macbook Pro laptops
• Semester loan for Linux laptops
• 7 days for all periodicals and Flip cameras; Music & Media DVDs audio cassettes, CDs, and videos
• 3 days for reference items
• 21 days for items borrowed through Link+
• 2 hours for Group, Graduate, and Individual Study Rooms
• Laptops and headphones are due back before the close of business each day.
Renewals and Recalls
• Renew most books online or in person at the Circulation Desk, 1st floor.
• Overdue items must be renewed in person at the Circulation Desk.
• Recalled items may not be renewed.
• Books recalled by another patron must be returned within 10 days.
• You will be notified of the recall at your Fresno State e-mail address.
Maximum Number of Items
• 50 total items
• 15 outstanding requests
• Link+ is a quick and easy way to request items not available here from other participating libraries.
• The items are delivered to the 1st floor Circulation desk for checkout.
• We offer Interlibrary Loan services for items unavailable through the Library or Link+
Fees and Charges
Overdue Materials
$0.25 fine per day per item for the following:
• Books, Teacher Resource Center, Music scores, Maps, Government Documents
• Overdue fines for late-returned recalled items increase to $1 per day.
• Overdue recalled books and bound periodicals,
• Books borrowed from other libraries,
• Reserve 1 and 3 day loans; Music & Media audio cassettes, compact discs, DVDs, and videos,
• Current periodicals, Flip ultra HD Cameras
• 2 hour Course and Music & Media Reserves
• Laptop adapters and bags
• Group and Individual Study Rooms
$10 per hour: Dell and Macbook Pro Laptops
$10 per day: Linux Laptops
• Cost of item + $10 processing fee + $10 late fee for Madden Library material
• $115 or higher for books borrowed from other libraries

Renewals and Recalls
You will be sent a list of outstanding books at the end of each semester. You may renew books online, via e-mail or in person at the Circulation Desk, 1st Floor. Recalled items may not be renewed. Contracted faculty: the Circulation Department must receive verification of continuing privilege prior to renewal.
Books recalled by another patron must be returned within 10 days. You will be notified of the recall at your Fresno State e-mail address.

Associate (Community) Borrower Policies
Your library-issued Associates card and a picture ID are required for all transactions.
Loan Periods
• 7 days for all periodicals; Music & Media DVDs, audio cassettes, CDs and videos
• 3 days for reference items
• Music & Media headphones are due back before the close of business each day.
Public School Teachers (K-12)
Eligibility
Full-time, certified K-12 public school teachers are eligible for a free Teachers Borrower's Card
To apply, applicants must provide:
- a current school identification card.
- a current California's driver's license or California identification card.
- their Social Security number.
Maximum Number of Items
30 items total Up to 5 items from each of the following: Madden Library general collection; Teacher Resource Center (TRC) media and hands on collection (models, artifacts, kits, games, etc.); TRC teacher tools collection (AVerVision document camera, Califone listening center, laptop speaker, recording equipment, etc.); Music & Media; Maps; and Government Information.
Up to 20 items from the TRC general collection.
Loan Period
• 28 days for the general collection and TRC materials; loan periods for other materials may vary.
• Material requested by another patron may be recalled from a borrower at any time.
Renewals
After establishing an account at https://iii.lib.csufresno.edu/patroninfo items can be renewed through the Library's website at http://www.csufresno.edu/library.
Materials may also be brought to the Circulation Desk for renewal.
Lost Card/Address Change
Please notify the Library's Circulation Department (278-2551) of a change of address or a lost card.
You are responsible for any materials borrowed with your card until the loss of the card is reported.
